• A client has a pacemaker (due to the frequency of a pacemaker). 

• A client is a cancer patient, going through chemotherapy or irradiation. 

• A client has been taking acne medications (Roaccutane) in the last year. 

• A client uses products with acids or has recently been on a chemical peel, laser, dermapen, sunbathing, etc. !!
